Everyone has them.
At what point do we turn our dreams into a reality? For some people it may just be making more money, or owning a beautiful home with lots of land. For others, it may be winning the lottery, or becoming the next best popstar. How can we make this happen?
Step 1: Keep track of what you focus on – meaning what do you usually pay attention to? The positives or the negatives? When focusing on what’s right, you become more of a problem-solver, and less of letting challegnesb becoming set backs.
Step 2: Make a worry list! This might sound contraditory to the first step, but to make sure we’re crossing all of our i’s and dotting all of our t’s, it’s a good idea to cover all bases. The brain tends to pay more attention to the negativity when it comes to projects, or basically anything in general. To worrying about the negativity in an effective way is to create a list of things that will end up becoming worries in the present, or future. The benefit of creating this list is to immediately release this heavy energy and prevent being stuck on this one thing.
Step 3: Keep a gratitude journal. Gratitude is a really simple way to encourage the positive feelings. You’ll want to recognize what you’ve done and how far you’ve come with your project.
Step 4: Write down your “why”. Why are you chasing after your dream? Why did you choose this? Why are you planning to move forward? Why did this single thing inspire you in the first place? It’s a great idea to track your goals during this process.
Step 5: Visualize. Imagine what it would be like to finally have what you were working so hard for. Connect with your feelings of achievement.
Step 6: Feel like you’ve already received what you want. This is going to help you believe that you will be able to do this.
These steps are going to help you implement and hyperfocus on what your main goal is. Whether you believe in this or not, it will, without a doubt, help you achieve your goals.
